Overview
This 2-day workshop covers the Best Practices for presenting, consuming, storing and processing data in the SharePoint platform. The workshop features minimal lecture, extensive hands-on lab exercises and question and answer sessions to advance the knowledge and capabilities of the students.
An online option is held in conjunction with the instructor-led course, with
other students in the classroom and online, via Live Meeting technology.
Prerequisites
Students must have experience with Visual Studio, the .Net Framework and ASP.NET. Students must have completed the Mindsharp Developer’s Guide to Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 class or possess similar knowledge and experience with the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 platform. It is helpful, but not required, if students have a basic understanding of the Business Data Catalog feature of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.
Audience
The primary audience for this course is SharePoint developers who are responsible for the successful implementation of custom applications that utilize data stored in SharePoint or use SharePoint to present or consume data stored outside of the SharePoint platform.
